What is a scene?

A cultural music lesson with White Light

What makes a scene? Today, the internet seems to break all geographical barriers, not making it hard for anybody with a laptop to duplicate what they heard on a website. So does that mean we are left with a totally homogeneous sound that lacks variety? Luckily, I think that locale still determines the type of style and sound. Here are a few quick examples

LA Hip Hop
Take - Horizontal Figuration Tokimonsta Remix by TOKiMONSTA

Erick Rincon is a teenager making this hyped up cumbia called 3ball (tribal). This stuff, I assume, goes nuts at underage house parties in his hometown of Monterey, Mexico.

Machine gun ragga or dirty arab garage is maybe the best way to describe this magic.
