Mudge 72 - Ambient Trips

I'm very excited to share with you this ambient mix with all of you. This is great music to put on in the background and daydream, think, express yourself, drive, hang out, contemplate... you get the idea. Very emotive and ethereal. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it and support the artists... most of them need it!

Pressed And - Raid

After listening and relistenting to this beautiful track by Pressed And, its as though I just took a spiritual shower and washed off all of the impurities built up over the whole week. Reminiscent of James Blake and as refreshing like a cool autumn stream.

Hey everyone... almost forgot about this little project. Lot of stuff going on most of which I have no complaints and am very thankful. Doing a little work and this song came on and I fell in love again... This is a track featured on Leighton's mixtape I featured on a here a little while back. incredible example of spacey laid back house completely soaked in an ambient groove...

Little Fluffy Clouds (Cumulonimbus Mix).mp3 by Alberto P. Noya

Juju - The Moonlight

On the eve of Christmas, I was planning on throwing together a couple of gems for everyone and label the post Stocking Stuffers. I had to sideline that idea when I finally was able to find enough information about Juju, an instrumentalist/beatmaker from Holland with the incredibly gorgeous track that incorporates elements of Claude Debussy's Clair De Lune

Juju - The Moonlight

With some more digging, I learned that Juju is offering instrumental album for here at his record label's bandcamp. You can preview/stream below and click on link to get free copy. Highly encouraged listening. Lush arrangements steeped in a classical background coupled with trip hop/DJ shadowesque beats. Merry Christmas Kids!

Alec Troniq - Windspiel Sampler

This one takes some time... give it a little room and let this one build. Has some nice piano interludes, some spacey vocals reminiscent of AIR, maybe a few scitars... its builds and stalls and builds and stalls until around minute for and you can't contain it any more...

Alec Troniq - Farou
Farou by alec troniq

Here are two more that are not quite as accessible but nice background work music.

Spaced Out Music - Might be a little overwhelming for some...

I love spaced out music but often have a hard time finding the right spot for them in a playlist or mixtape... They usually surface all of the sudden and totally kills my buzz... whats that you say? you know the feeling?!!?

That's why i created a little playlist specifically for these awesome (seriously... they're awesome) tracks. Perfect for long drives, contemplation, day dreams, naps, journaling, reading?, studying, sophisticated parties...

suggested consumption: download all of them, put them on a cd, listen to ever track fully at least 3 times (don't skip) to allow full immersion. Then listen one more time, write me a love letter on facebook or below, and then support the artists.

Sitting at the airport and people watching to the perfect soundtrack... Evenings fresh EP. I featured the stand out track Babe a week or two ago but the rest is definately worth the $Free.99 and more importantly, your time.
